Position:                      Testing, Adjusting, & Balancing (TAB) Certified Professional (CP)

Reports to:                  VP and above

Classification:             Exempt (salary)

Job Summary: This is a Management level position responsible for managing all operational aspects of the Testing, Adjusting & Balancing (TAB) Projects including but not limited to the timely and successful completion of all projects, the continued training and supervision of all field technicians, building long-term relationships with all customers, clients, and team members, and assisting with the implementation the aggressive growth strategies for our company to become and maintain the reputation of the Southeast’s leader in commercial and industrial Testing, Adjusting, and Balancing.  

Role:   Through a respectful, constructive, and energetic style guided by the principals and objectives of the company, NEBB Certified Professionals (NEBB CPs) should provide the leadership, management, technical competence, and vision necessary to ensure that the company has the proper operational controls, administrative procedures, and relationship building techniques in place to effectively grow our organization while maintaining our core values of Integrity, Professionalism, and Trust.

Educational/Experience requirements:  For consideration of this position, an applicant must meet the requirements for one of the sections listed below:

Currently a NEBB Certified CP or Currently an AABC TAB Engineer (TBE) or TABB TAB Supervisor.  in good standing.

OR

Currently an AABC TAB Engineer (TBE) or a TABB TAB Supervisor, in good standing, who possesses the desire and ability to quickly complete the NEBB Certified Professional (CP) Certification Process.

OR

Hold a Bachelor of Science Engineering degree from an accredited college or university.

AND

Have at least two years of supervisory experience in Testing, Adjusting and Balancing.

OR

Hold an Associate's Degree in Engineering Technology from and accredited institution.

AND

Have at least four years of supervisory experience in Testing, Adjusting, and Balancing.

AND

Have two years of supervisory experience in building systems design, building systems installation, Building Systems Commissioning, Building Systems Testing, or TAB.

Six years of total experience.

OR

Have a minimum of four years of experience in performing Testing, Adjusting and Balancing.

AND

Have four years of supervisory experience in Testing, Adjusting and Balancing.
