Lyndon McGill is originally from Tallapoosa, Georgia where he graduated with both college preparatory and vocational seals of acknowledgement on his High School Diploma. He attended Southern Union State Community College after receiving a Presidential Scholarship for academics and served as an inaugural member of the SUSCC Student Ambassadors. After graduating from SUSCC with an Associates in Science degree, Lyndon attended Jacksonville State University and Auburn University prior to pursuing his career in the mechanical engineering field.

After moving to Jacksonville, Florida, Lyndon began his career in the Testing, Adjusting, and Balancing field. Mr. McGill has successfully manage both domestic and international projects. Lyndon is a Certified TAB Professional (CP) and a Certified Sound Measurement Professional (SM) through the National Environmental Balancing Bureau (NEBB) and holds numerous certifications vital to the field including the advanced OSHA training certification, Aerial Lift Safety Training Certification, U.S. Army Corp of Engineers Certified Construction Quality Management (USACE CQM), CPR certified, First Aid and AED certified.

In August 2015, Lyndon McGill became a Business Partner in The SMI Group.

As the President of The SMI Group, Mr. McGill approaches his role through a respectful, constructive, and energetic style guided by the objectives of the company. Mr. McGill provides leadership, succession planning, performance management, training and development, and the vision necessary to effectively build and maintain this organization.

In May of 2017, Lyndon was nominated and elected by his peers to serve on the Board of Directors for the Florida Chapter of the National Environmental Balancing Bureau (FEBB) and also serves on the FEBB Technical Committee.

In October of 2018, Lyndon was selected and joined the National Environmental Balancing Bureau's Test, Adjust, and Balance (TAB) Committee as a voting member.
